This is a non-stretchy material. This bow fit newborn to adult. Depending on the size of the head will determine the size of the bow. Best fit in a bow for newborns to toddlers.
It's tied in the sitter size (6/9 months). But you can easy untied and re-tied it yourself for the other size (newborn - adult). Here is video how to do it.
